Dear Ukrainians!
Work is still ongoing in Odessa after the strike last night. There were power outages, water outages – all services are involved to restore supply. As of this morning, more than 300,000 families in Odessa and the region had their electricity disconnected, a third of which have now been restored, and work is continuing. I want to thank all the repair crews, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, and everyone involved.
There were also strikes on Kharkiv and the region, Pavlohrad, Kherson, Sumy region, and our Zhytomyr region. It is important that there is real help for people everywhere.
During the day there were reports from Prime Minister Koretsky. I also spoke with Commander-in-Chief Drapaty - on the defense of our cities, on our responses to Russia. There are completely fair responses, there will be our response to every Russian strike. The Russian war will be increasingly felt at home, in Russia.
I thank the Armed Forces and the Security Service of Ukraine today: the operation against the Russian oil refinery continues, it is very tangible for them, there were also defeats of Russian air defense systems and radar stations, there were also our responses to Russian infrastructure in the Azov and Black Sea regions. The only reason why this is still ongoing is Russia's unwillingness to end this war.
This week we will have new contacts with the mediators, and precisely on those steps and those proposals that are necessary. Ukraine is always active in diplomacy. There will be new contacts for the sake of air defense packages - to protect our state, our people.
One more thing. No matter what happens, we remember: everything depends on the stability of our units, our soldiers at the front. This week, there is something to note about our 14th National Guard brigade, which is fighting in the areas of Dobropillya. Thank you, soldiers! Kostyantynivka direction - the 100th separate mechanized brigade. Thank you! Kramatorsk direction - thank you to the 24th separate mechanized brigade. And also in the areas of active operations of the DShV, thank you to the 79th separate airborne assault brigade. Well done, soldiers!
And I thank everyone who defends our state, defends our positions, everyone who remembers that the fate of Ukraine, Ukrainian independence, is decided by the contribution that each of us really makes to the defense of Ukraine, to the support of those who are nearby. We care about Ukraine.
Glory to Ukraine!
