We plan contracts and production so that our arsenals are sufficiently filled - the President's address

Dear Ukrainians!

Held a Technological Stavka. The manufacturers of our weapons – long-range weapons – were also at the Stavka. The key issue is production volumes. The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and other government officials, our Defense and Security Forces, as well as all major companies – manufacturers of Ukrainian drones and missiles were in conversation today. This is the format that works best – when everyone is in one conversation, everyone is involved in preparing important decisions, everyone is really concerned, everyone is able to convey real information and is not able to lie. There were really differences in assessments of our production potential, the real capabilities of companies – yesterday I spoke in detail and today I spoke with our manufacturers. And then there were all those who are responsible for contracts on the state side and are responsible for financing. We need to produce the maximum, and our Ukrainian production capabilities are still far from being filled. We direct Ukrainian financing so that every company that can provide a quality result receives an order and can fully implement it. Partners help us with finances, especially with drones. This is important. And it is tangible, I thank you for that. The task of the Ministry of Defense and all institutions involved is to provide manufacturers with as many orders as they can realistically fulfill.

Today, there were reports at the Headquarters regarding our long-range needs in the near future, by the end of the year, and in the longer term. The accuracy of our soldiers helps to protect the entire state. We are planning contracts and planning production so that our arsenals are sufficiently filled. We are also working on the issue of exports - controlled exports of our weapons, some types of which we have in surplus, which can really give Ukraine additional finances for the production of scarce items that are so needed on the front now, and those that have shown themselves best in strikes deep into Russian territory. There are already agreements on four export platforms: the United States of America, Europe, the Middle East, and also Africa. We will prepare the appropriate agreements.

We spoke separately with the military about the operational situation, there was a report from the Commander-in-Chief. The Dobropil counteroffensive operation is ongoing. I want to thank all our involved units for their efficiency. At the beginning of today, our forces managed to liberate, and this is since the beginning of the operation, more than 174 square kilometers and more than 194 kilometers were cleared of Russian saboteurs. Russian losses only within the framework of this operation are almost 3,200, and most of them are irretrievable losses. There were reports on the situation in Kupyansk, on the situation in the border area of the Kharkiv region, on the areas at the junction of the Donetsk and Dnipro regions. And it is not easy there, but it is important that Ukrainian soldiers, our units are doing everything they can to protect their positions. Thank you for that. Today I also want to note our guys who shot down a Russian military helicopter with an EF-15 - this result inspired many Ukrainians. The calculation of the FPV battalion of unmanned systems of the 59th separate assault brigade – thank you, guys!

I spoke with President Sandu, congratulated her on her victory in the parliamentary elections. These are historic elections – Moldova was able to win much more in them than protection from the destabilization that Russia is promoting. Moldova won a chance to be in Europe. These are good economic and social prospects.

I also took part in the Warsaw Security Forum today. Although it is online, it is quite productive. We in Europe have common challenges for everyone, and we need to respond together. Sanctions against Russia are important - we are waiting for the 19th package. We also need support for our defense and the creation of common defense instruments - we need common defense of Europe on the eastern flank from Russian drones and missiles. Significant support could also be the restriction of Russian destructive activities at sea: if indeed the tankers used by Russia are also used to launch drones that are disturbing Europe, then it is high time to close the Baltic and other seas for these tankers. It is important to act strongly. Russia does not understand anything else. The Russians must know where the borders are and where the limit is. Thank you to everyone who helps us!

Glory to Ukraine!
