We know from intelligence and partners that the Russians have prepared missiles for a new massive strike on Ukraine - President's address

Dear Ukrainians!

This afternoon, the Russians struck Kyiv and the region - the strike was ballistic. The target in the Buchansky district of the Kyiv region was an event that definitely shouldn't have been there. Today, we spoke with Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko, there were reports from law enforcement officers, and there are already criminal proceedings on the fact of what happened. Of course, the reason for the strike is Russian missiles, exclusively Russian terror, but everyone has been told a thousand times that in such conditions of war, with such an enemy, it is definitely impossible to hold any weapons exhibitions - with a bunch of people and especially next to houses. As of now, ten people are known to have died from this strike. My condolences to their families and loved ones. Many people were injured and traumatized.

There were also very brutal Russian strikes on Sloviansk and other communities in the Donetsk region, in the Kharkiv, Kherson, Sumy regions, in Odessa and the region. We know from intelligence and our partners that the Russians have prepared missiles for a new massive strike on Ukraine. This strike may be today: preliminary information is that within 48 hours. Please take care of yourself and pay attention to air raid warnings.

Today, there were meetings with the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Mykhailo Drapaty, Yevheniy Khmara was there with the team of the Ministry of Defense, other government officials and Prime Minister of Ukraine Serhiy Koretsky were there. We have determined in detail the order of steps that can provide more protection to our cities, our villages, our south, our infrastructure. We are updating the plan to protect grain exports. I really appreciate that all the heads of the defense and security sectors are actively coordinating with each other. This is exactly what we need. I am grateful to Mykhailo Drapaty, Yevheniy Khmara for their attention to detail and interaction. Pavlo Palisa and the team of the President's Office will continue to help with the search and implementation of solutions. Prime Minister Koretsky is preparing economic and infrastructure alternatives that can support the stability of Ukraine. Prime Minister, the entire government team will work on maximum diversification of export and import operations. The challenges are very significant. There must be asymmetric solutions. Providing fuel to the Ukrainian market, as well as additional export routes, the necessary programs to support Ukrainian producers, plus working with our partners – with our neighbors in the region and Brussels – all of this is already in the works. We very much expect understanding from our partners. Air defense is the first priority, with which our partners can help us. All agreements must be implemented, implemented promptly. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, all our diplomats must act faster, and Ukraine's needs must be heard louder in the world, because these are real needs to protect life. And it is important that key partner countries are increasingly aware of everything that is actually happening in Ukraine, about Russian strikes against our people, about Russia's prolonging its war. These days, Laura Loomer, a person close, very close to President Trump, is in Ukraine. We spoke with her, and Laura saw a lot in Ukraine, in the capital and not only: both the Lavra, and our people, and everything that we are going through. I hope that America will continue to be with Ukraine and we will be able to end this war with a worthy peace. This is exactly what we need. We are preparing to meet with the President of America and his team. I thank America, I thank everyone who is with Ukraine - with our people, with our defense of life.

We have clear intelligence information that Russia is preparing a new wave of mobilization for the fall, and quite a significant one. At this time, the Russians are losing more of their soldiers at the front than they are gaining, and Putin is still going to increase attacks and expand this war. He still needs Russians to participate in the assaults. We must proactively defend against this at all levels: at the front, in our long-range sanctions, also in mid-strikes, in our diplomacy and, of course, in communication with everyone who is able to support life, who is able to bring peace closer. Eternal memory to all those killed by Russia.

Glory to Ukraine!
