Deputy Prime Minister Taras Kachka met in Kyiv with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland Marcin Bosacki.
We discussed key areas of Ukrainian-Polish dialogue, economic cooperation, and regular coordination on the path to our country's membership in the EU.
"There are many common economic interests between Ukraine and Poland, which underlie the further deepening of cooperation between our countries. That is why it is important to purposefully invest in the development of our bilateral relations at the political and practical levels, taking into account the mutual interests of both sides," the Deputy Prime Minister emphasized.
He specifically noted the importance of open dialogue between the two countries, particularly on sensitive issues such as agricultural policy.
"We see great value in more open and direct communication, particularly on technical issues. Such an approach strengthens trust between partners. Coordination of our approaches and positions is an important prerequisite for effective cooperation. It helps to form a common vision of key processes within the framework of Ukraine's European integration, as well as our bilateral cooperation," Taras Kachka noted.
