Today, we had an important conversation with the military - with the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, the Chief of the General Staff, the Minister of Defense, the commanders of the SBS and DShV, and also spoke with relevant representatives of the Security Service of Ukraine. We are taking all necessary steps to ensure that our deep strikes, our Ukrainian medium-range sanctions plan work as effectively as possible. Today, we identified additional priorities and adjusted the tasks for August. It is important that there are results. Today, there is another achievement of our Defense Forces of Ukraine: another facility in the Russian oil refining industry was hit, and the distance is significant - more than 2.5 thousand kilometers, and this is in Tobolsk in Siberia. Now this region is accessible to our deep strikes. A very significant achievement of our Ukrainian soldiers. I thank everyone for their accuracy. There will be more Ukrainian deep strikes, which should demonstrate to Russia and the Russians that peace is needed. We have data from internal surveys in Russia that the number of people who would like the war to end is already growing there. And it should be even more tangible. So that Putin and his administration, his Efesbeshniki, and everyone else in the aggressor state equally understand that there is no other alternative but peace. Today I want to thank all the caring media, all journalists, all media, all bloggers and podcasters of the world who show and tell the truth about what is happening in this war, how it is happening. This is the first time in the history of Russia when they no longer have a secure strategic rear. And this is the first time they cannot fight without supplements from North Korea. Now they are preparing to deploy an additional contingent of Koreans on their territory. They received, imagine, additional ballistics from North Korea. And everyone in the world should understand what this means. This is not only about the lives of people in Ukraine, not only about threats to us. Ballistics from North Korea, their other weapons are being improved thanks to collaboration with Russia. The more North Korean hits we have here, in Ukraine, in Europe, the more their missiles and soldiers are used, the more they correct their imperfections and ignorance, the more dangers there will be for Japan, for the Republic of Korea, for the Philippines and other countries in the region. Therefore, when we talk about the need for joint actions, the need for coordination and mutual support, when we talk about the need to help us with air defense, we are also talking about actually reflecting the appetite and interest of North Korea to come here, to our land, to our sky, with its weapons, to learn war. It is necessary for everyone in our global world who respects human life to be together in measures to protect people.
I spoke today with the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia. Our team will be in the region now, and there are things that are already developing well in our relationship. I expect reciprocity in support. There will be contacts with other countries in the Middle East and the Gulf region.

Work has been going on in Odessa all day - they are restoring electricity. Most consumers have already been given electricity, but there is still work to be done. I thank everyone in the repair teams, in energy companies, in the State Emergency Service of Ukraine who is involved in this work. As of the evening, almost 70 thousand families were still without electricity. All necessary forces have been involved. There were Russian strikes on energy facilities and other critical infrastructure in Sumy, Dnipro, Zaporizhia, and Kharkiv regions. Our services are responding immediately everywhere. I thank you for this work. I thank everyone who cares about Ukraine and Ukrainians!
