First   The meeting of the Luhansk Regional Youth Congress was held in Kyiv.

The new advisory body included one representative from each community in the region - young people aged 16 to 24.

The first constituent meeting of the youth congress was held by the head of the region, Oleksiy Kharchenko.

"I am confident that the Congress will become an effective platform for implementing new ideas, supporting youth projects, developing leadership, and forming the future management elite of our region. From now on, you are the voice of the youth of Luhansk Region. The effectiveness of this body's work will depend on your activity, responsibility, and concern," he addressed the delegates.

Members of the Luhansk Regional Youth Congress elected Karina Ignatush as chairperson by a majority vote , as well as   10 delegates to participate in the events of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities under the President of Ukraine.

Luhansk Region will be represented by: Karina Ignatusha (Lysychanska UTC); Darya Bezkobylna (Bilovodska STG); Kyrylo Melnyk (Kreminska UTC); Myroslav Malevanets (Siverskodonetska UTC); Liliya Mulyavchyk (Girska UTC); Elizaveta Simonova (Starobilska UTC); Mykola Petrenko (Shulhynska STG); Viktoria Kolbina (Shchastynska UTC); Angelina Hryhorenko (Svativska UTC) and Alina Tsykuntsova (Rubizhanka UTC).   They were given representative functions to participate in the formation of policies, state decisions, and work side by side with local authorities for the development of communities in Luhansk Region.

The online youth leaders were congratulated by Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Viktor Mykyta: "The decision of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy to establish chambers of regional youth congresses is a response to the challenges faced by our country."
