Our compatriot, soldier of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Kostyantyn Tkachenko, died

Kostyantyn was born on August 25, 1998 in Bilovodsk, Luhansk Region. He studied at Siverskodonetsk School No. 14. Later, he received his education at Siverskodonetsk Technical School and Volodymyr Dahl East Ukrainian National University. He received a bachelor's degree in Telecommunications and Radio Engineering. He dreamed of becoming a programmer.

In 2023, the family moved to Slavutych from occupied Siverskodonetsk.

He loved outdoor recreation, camping trips, and was fond of video games. The greatest pride and joy in his life was his son Yevgeny. Konstantin loved his child infinitely, asked to hug his son every day and tell him that he loved him. He dreamed of buying a house in Slavutych, getting a driver's license, and teaching his son to roller skate. He was a loving father, a reliable friend, and a kind person. What he wanted most was for his son to grow up in a peaceful country, without war or evil.

In November 2025, Konstantin was drafted into military service. He served as an unmanned aerial vehicle operator. On June 6, 2026, he died near the settlement of Yastrubyne, Sumy region, as a result of an enemy UAV strike.

The Slavutych and Siverskodonetsk communities express their sincere condolences to the mother of Natalia Valeriyevna, his wife Yaroslava, relatives, friends, and brothers of the deceased Defender.

On June 13, Kostyantyn Tkachenko returned to Slavutych for the last time.

On June 15 at 12:00, a farewell to the warrior will take place in the temple in honor of the icon of the Mother of God "Perpetual Help".

We bow our heads low in grief for the Defender. We lose. It hurts.
