Even if our walls are now wounded and the windows look into emptiness, the North lives inside each of us: in the smell of the coniferous forest near Chisty or Shose Budivelnykiv, in the New Year lights of the Palace of Chemists, in the cozy courtyards of the old city, and in the bustling queues of the Central and "Cunning" markets.

We are scattered around the world, but on City Day we must be together. Even if it's through the screens of our phones or laptops.
