On the occasion of the Constitution Day of Ukraine, the fighters of the 53rd separate mechanized brigade named after Prince Volodymyr Monomakh, the border guards of "Pomsty" and the personnel of the 56th separate motorized infantry brigade of Mariupol were awarded the award of the Siverskodonetsk community.

For significant results in the destruction of enemy reconnaissance and strike UAVs of the Russian Federation, the personnel of the mobile fire groups of the air defense platoon of the 53rd OMB were personally awarded the medals "For Special Merits" by the head of the Siverskodonetsk City Military Administration, Yevgenia Boyko.

On behalf of the community, she thanked the fellow servicemen of the brigade, which had always been with Sever before the full-scale invasion, for their significant results in destroying enemy reconnaissance and strike drones.

These warriors are a real terror for enemy drones. Mobile fire groups operate in extremely difficult conditions: in absolute darkness, in any weather, 24/7. They demonstrate incredible reaction and jewelry accuracy, shooting down air targets. Each of their accurate hits is minus one enemy UAV, as well as dozens of saved lives of Ukrainians and preserved homes. Our boundless pride and reliable protection! 💪
