March 14 - Ukrainian Volunteer Day

Today, on Ukrainian Volunteer Day, we honor all those who, at the call of their hearts, stood up to defend Ukraine.

In the most difficult moments of our history, it was volunteers who were the first to stand up to defend the freedom, independence, and future of our state.

In 2014 and 2022, thousands of Ukrainians left their homes, families, and peaceful lives to take up arms and defend their homeland. It was their determination, courage, and faith that helped thwart the plans of the Russian occupiers.

Your indomitability, initiative, and willingness to act in the most difficult conditions have become one of the foundations of Ukraine's resilience.

On this day, we also honor with deep gratitude the memory of those who, defending their homeland, gave their most precious thing - their lives. Their feat will forever live in our memory.

Ukraine stands and fights because there are people ready to defend it.

We thank each and every one for their courage, loyalty to the oath, and service to the Ukrainian people.

Glory to the Ukrainian volunteers!

Glory to Ukraine!
