Dear fellow countrymen!
On July 22, 2014, Siverskodonetsk was liberated from Russian militants by Ukrainian troops during the Anti-Terrorist Operation. The blue-and-yellow flag, a symbol of freedom and dignity, once again flew over the city. This date was the first tangible blow to the myth of the “Russian world.”
We bow our heads to each Defender. Thank you for your feat, for the return of the city to free life, and for the years of peace without racism.
Unfortunately, at that time Ukraine failed to completely cleanse Donetsk, Luhansk and Crimea of the occupation tumor. On February 24, 2022, this unspeakable war escalated into a full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation. Siverskodonetsk was again under attack and, after fierce fighting, came under temporary occupation. Bombings, destroyed homes, mutilated destinies and genocide - this is it, the real, ugly face of racism.
Our common goal is to expel the invader from every meter of Ukrainian land.
We remember. We fight. We will return.
Siverskodonetsk is Ukraine!
Glory to Ukraine! Glory to the heroes!
