The awarding of the winners of the regional rating "Pride of Luhansk Region - 2026" became the main event of the forum "Ukrainian Luhansk Region: We Create the Future Today."
417 organizations and active representatives of the public nominated their nominees. In each nomination, five candidates were identified for the title of the winner of the "Pride of Luhansk Region" rating, for whom Luhansk residents voted from July 15 to August 1.
The “Leader of the Year” was Yana Litvinova, head of the Starobilsk City Military Administration.
The winner in the "Guardians of Luhansk Region" nomination was Ivan Shybkov, the head of "School Television" and "Photo Studio" of Lysychansk Lyceum No. 28 "Garant", and currently the chief sergeant of the 2nd company of strike unmanned aviation complexes of the battalion of unmanned complexes of the 210th separate assault regiment.
The winner in the "Charity Mission of Luhansk Region" nomination was Roman Zhylienkov, a volunteer who, together with the team of the Vostok-SOS Foundation, helped thousands of Ukrainians find a safe place and receive support.
The title "Unbreakable Business of Luhansk Region" was awarded to Dmytro Ryasny, the founder of the company "Dynasty Ryasnykh".
Nomination "Youth Breakthrough of Luhansk Region" - Alena Shynkivska - the ideological inspirer and organizer of the "Summer School on Life Safety "New Generation", which has been successfully held in the Dubovets community in the Ivano-Frankivsk region for the 5th year in a row.
The "leader of innovations in Luhansk region" was Oleksandr Naboka, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Head of the Department of History and Archaeology of Taras Shevchenko Luhansk National University. Researcher, local historian, teacher.
"Educator of the Year" is Maria Tikhonovskaya, an English teacher at Popasnyansky Lyceum No. 25.
The winner in the nomination "Sports Embassy of the Year" was Oleksandr Dubovoy - an outstanding Ukrainian strongman, five-time world champion and three-time European champion in all-around sports. Honored Master of Sports of Ukraine.
The nomination "Cultural Diplomacy of the Year" was received by Svitlana Talan - a Ukrainian writer, author of novels in the genre of "true stories", known in Ukraine and abroad. Member of the National Union of Writers of Ukraine (2014). Golden Writer of Ukraine.
The “Voice of Luhansk Region” was Natalia Bondar (Kvitka), a former journalist for the newspaper “Visnyk Starobilshchyny” and now a communications officer for the Starobilsk City Military Administration.
The title “Strength of the Community” was awarded to Olga Felenko, an IDP from the city of Rubizhne, head of the Ternopil HUB – New Life Foundation.
The most honorable nomination "Social Mission of Luhansk Region" was received by Iryna Tselukhina, a mother-teacher of a family-type orphanage, which raises nine children deprived of parental care.
