Honorary Citizen of the City of Siverskodonetsk, Honored Worker of Culture Vitaly Stepanovich Aseev passed away.
After a long illness, at the age of 87, a man who was known to almost all the townspeople passed away.
Vitaly Stepanovych headed the Siverskodonetsk Regional Music School named after S.S. Prokofiev (now the Siverskodonetsk Professional College of Culture and Arts named after Sergei Prokofiev) from April 1980 to September 2009, and was the artistic director and conductor of the music school's symphony orchestra.
The name of Vitaliy Aseev and the name of this educational institution have always been perceived as synonyms. And if the first director built the walls and gave the school a high status, then it gained recognition thanks to the educational activities of Vitaliy Stepanovich.
A musician, teacher, and educator - he dedicated himself to music and creativity, to his audience and his educational institution, uniting like-minded people around him and inspiring creative victories to everyone who was around him.
Vitaliy Stepanovych Aseev was the first art and culture worker in our city to be awarded the honorary title "Honored Worker of Culture of Ukraine".
"For all of us, Prokofievites, this is a man of an era, the best creative times of our institution are associated with his name. Each of us felt his care, attention, and desire to help. For many of us, he was a true musical father, caring and loving," Dina Golovina wrote in her Facebook post.
The Siverskodonetsk community expresses its condolences to the family and friends of Vitaliy Stepanovich Aseev and the entire musical community that the artist once united.
Bright memory...
