The resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated April 24, 2026 No. 522 “On Amendments to the Procedure for Providing Housing Assistance to Internally Displaced Persons” has been published on the government portal.

In particular, the possibility of submitting applications for housing assistance for IDPs has been extended until June 1, 2026 for certain categories of recipients:

for families with IDP children, regardless of the parents' income, provided that the family meets the criteria regarding the family's financial situation, actual place of residence, and the fact that the children are studying;

for pensioners and families that include disabled persons whose benefits were terminated due to exceeding the average monthly total family income (they can submit documents for payment taking into account the changed amount of the subsistence minimum for persons who have lost their ability to work).
