The head of the Luhansk region noted that the amount of expenditures approved in the regional budget to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine, fulfill tasks to repel armed aggression of the Russian Federation, ensure the inviolability of the state border and protect the state for 2026, as of the beginning of April, is 191.2 million hryvnias.

"We distribute these almost 200 million hryvnias according to the needs received from the brigades. We consider the validity of the purchases at meetings of the Regional Defense Council. Some of the proposals have to be rejected, but we fulfill most of the requests from the military as quickly as possible," emphasized Oleksiy Kharchenko.

Thus, UAH 87.7 million was allocated from the regional budget for the purchase of unmanned aerial vehicles and components for them.

For the provision of electronic warfare means – UAH 28.5 million.

The purchase of special vehicles and their repairs cost UAH 50.8 million.

"At the slightest opportunity, we will definitely review the expenditures of the regional budget in order to increase the amount of support for our defenders. We are also involving the budgets of the communities of Luhansk region in providing the front. Because every million directed to the Defense Forces means the saved lives of Ukrainian fighters and peace in the rear of our relatives," Oleksiy Kharchenko emphasized.
