I wish you health, dear Ukrainians!

First of all, today we have something to thank our air defense for: good results, there were downings - more than 30 Russian missiles were shot down. Most of them were aimed at the energy sector, we really managed to protect very important objects. As for the "shaheeds", there are also results. Every night - exactly like that, every night - when our air defense has sufficient ammunition, when partners do what we agree on, we have the opportunity for just such results and downings. During these weeks, the Air Force of the Armed Forces has started to work better - some things have been rebuilt in the system, namely in the organization of defense against such massive strikes. I want to thank the command, I thank the Minister of Energy, I thank the Minister of Defense, everyone who is involved both at the level of central government and in the regions, so that the sky defense system works. Today I signed a decree on awarding state awards to our military personnel who are specifically in the defense of the sky. I want to thank all of you: army aviation, air defense systems, mobile fire groups, everyone involved.

I have spoken several times today with Rustem Umerov, David Arakhamia, and representatives of the President of the United States of America, Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, following the results of their meetings today. There is already more readiness for the next trilateral format. Most likely, the next meeting will be in the Emirates, it will be in Abu Dhabi. We expect the format to be in early March. We need to finalize everything that has been achieved for real security guarantees, and prepare a meeting at the level of leaders. This format can solve a lot. After all, leaders decide key issues, and when it comes to Russia, to such a personalist regime, it is much more than in other countries. The war must be ended - this is our position, this is the position of Ukraine, this is the position of all our partners. But, unfortunately, everyone now sees that Russia is not ready for peace, and there is no sign that Putin is stopping his war machine yet. On the contrary, it is preparing to continue fighting, and the world must be ready to put pressure on Russia to change this. The recipe is clear to everyone in the world. Russia will stop the war even on its own, of its own accord, when the world finally stops Russian oil, other Russian energy resources, and Russian banks. This is absolutely realistic. The world's sanctions must work for this - for a real lasting peace. Of course, with both America and Europe we are discussing each of the formats of pressure, formats of diplomacy that can really work. It is very important that partners continue to remain sufficiently resolute. I gave the team the following directives today - what we need to achieve.

One more thing.

We discussed in detail with the Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko the preparation of our strategy for energy restoration and renewed energy protection for the next winter. We will finalize the strategy on March 1 and then approve it. So that the European Commission, the countries of Europe, America, global business, and Ukrainian companies that have the appropriate power - so that everyone can join and work together with us, together with our people for greater stability and greater opportunities for the next winter. Of course, at a time this year when Russian strikes can continue to hit our infrastructure, our cities. All the positive experience of Ukrainian cities, the experience of Ukrainian communities that are going through this winter better than others - all this experience must be taken into account. I count on proposals from the regions. This is your responsibility, and the regions must be really prepared. I want to thank everyone who works for Ukraine, I want to thank everyone who protects our state, who protects Ukrainians. Thank you!
