The Defense Council of the Luhansk region supported the proposals of the Transparency and Accountability working group to allocate a subvention from the local budget for the purchase of UAVs, special equipment, vehicles and spare parts for them for the needs of the Defense Forces units for a total amount of UAH 68.27 million.

A total of 14 applications from military units were considered, but 9 were approved for funding.

In particular, requests for the purchase of unmanned aerial vehicles of various types have been satisfied: from the 18th Slavic Brigade of the National Guard - for the amount of almost UAH 10.0 million; from the 10th Army Corps - UAH 3.3 million; from the 3rd Separate Regiment of the Special Operations Center "East" - UAH 6.2 million and from the 10th Mobile Border Detachment - almost UAH 10.0 million.

The allocation of a subvention for the purchase of vehicles and UAVs for the 11th Army Corps - over UAH 3.4 million, and for the 24th Separate Assault Regiment "Aidar" - UAH 15.4 million was also approved.

UAH 10.5 million was allocated for the purchase of electronic warfare systems for the Main Directorate of the National Police in Luhansk region.

UAH 5.7 million - for restoration and current repair services, as well as technical maintenance of official vehicles for the 3rd Directorate of the Main Directorate of the Security Service of Ukraine in Donetsk and Luhansk regions.

"The communities of Luhansk region remain among the leaders in supporting the Defense Forces. This is the second tranche this year. UAH 134.59 million has been allocated in two months," said Oleksiy Kharchenko, head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration.
