"12 pickup trucks from the International Cooperation Department of the German Federal Agency for Technical Assistance were handed over this week to relocated medical and social institutions, hubs and other facilities for the prompt delivery of medicines, food and humanitarian aid to internally displaced persons," said Oleksiy Kharchenko, head of the Luhansk OVA, during the final briefing.

The communities of the region continue to systematically support Ukrainian servicemen. The Rubizhna CMA, within the framework of the program “Community to Defenders”, has sent another 730 thousand UAH of one-time material assistance to 27 defenders. In total, since the beginning of the year, 326 community defenders have already received financial support for a total amount of 8.69 million UAH.

Special attention is paid to the health of children. The Popasnyansk City Military Administration organized a vacation for 45 young residents of the community at the Artek-Prykarpattia children's camp in Truskavets, where a rich program of sports, creative and educational activities was prepared for them.
At the same time, 60 children from the Siverskodonetsk community aged 7 to 18 are undergoing a 21-day health improvement program at the Natalia camp in the Carpathians in accordance with the Comprehensive Program of Summer Health Improvement and Recreation for Children for 2026.

Oleksiy Kharchenko also thanked once again the medical workers who celebrated their professional holiday this week for their heroic work and emphasized that the relocated health care institutions of the region provide free services not only to IDPs from Luhansk region, but also to residents of host communities. In particular, as part of the All-Ukrainian Week of Testing for Hepatitis B and C, specialists of the Luhansk Regional Medical Center for Socially Dangerous Infectious Diseases held an educational campaign with simultaneous express testing for these diseases at the hub of the Popasnyanska community in Cherkasy.
