On August 24, Ukraine's Independence Day, Ukrainians and friends of Ukraine in different countries of the world will take to the central streets of their cities and join hands, forming Chains of Unity.
Warsaw and London, Berlin and Rome, Toronto and New York - thousands of kilometers between us, different countries and cities, but one Ukraine. The goal of the global campaign is to unite Ukrainians abroad around Ukraine and once again draw the world's attention to our state on Independence Day.
An interactive map has been created for the event: https://freeworldgathering.com/
Participants abroad can:
- find your city;
- mark the place where they will be on August 24;
- see other participants nearby;
- join an already established Unity Chain or become the coordinator of the action in your city.
THE PROMOTION IS TAKING PLACE BEYOND UKRAINE!
If you are in Ukraine now - help the Unity Chain pass through as many cities around the world as possible. Send information about the action to your family, friends and acquaintances abroad. Share this publication with Ukrainian communities and organizations in other countries. Let Ukrainians in different corners of the planet stand together on August 24 and show the world: we are divided by borders, but united by Ukraine.
The general partner of the promotion is the global postal and logistics group of companies Meest, which unites people all over the world.
The campaign is supported by the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
