Dear Ukrainians!
From yesterday evening and all day today, reports on the situation in the Kyiv region - the village of Myla, Buchansky district, where detonation began after the Russian strike. A terrible situation and terrible negligence of those who stored explosives right next to people. A lot of destruction, and as of now it is known that 37 people have died. The head of the community died while helping with the rescue operation. My condolences to all relatives and friends. The rubble is still being cleared, the number of dead, unfortunately, may increase. Dozens of people were injured, including locals and rescuers. The Prime Minister, the Minister of Internal Affairs were on the scene. All necessary forces have been involved to eliminate the consequences of the strike and fire and to help people. There is a criminal case. There should be a full investigation of all the facts. After the situation in Vyshneve, another such crime is absolutely unacceptable. I expect that the details will be presented to the public promptly. The first hit was in an ammunition storage facility that definitely shouldn't have been there - the Defense Forces' warehouses. Detonation of shells, mines, other ammunition and drones. A significant scale. We have already spoken with the Prosecutor General, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Security Service of Ukraine, the Main Command - they have everything they need for the investigation. I want to separately thank everyone who is doing everything to help, to save people, at the scene and in other places of Russian hits. It is important that there is always a quick and very professional response from the rescuers of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, our police officers, the government, and that communities are as united as possible and in such situations people are really shoulder to shoulder. Russia will have an answer for all that it is doing. Eternal memory to all whose lives were taken by the war, all these strikes, all these absolutely terrible circumstances.
