"The enemy shelled the territory of our region with various types of weapons over the past day. In particular, in nine cases he hit with barrel artillery. Five times he tried to hit with mortar fire. He hit with automatic grenade launchers. He carried out 11 drops from drones and directed two FPV drones towards the Ukrainian defenders," said Oleksiy Kharchenko, head of the region. "The enemy attacked 17 times near seven settlements in the Lyman direction."

In Lysychansk, residents of one of the high-rise buildings located in the city center have been waiting for two years for a major roof repair. More precisely, four years, because the building was damaged back in 2022. For two years, residents waited for the work to begin. But the Russian builders only managed to dismantle the roof and disappeared. Since then, no work has been carried out on the site. In the autumn-winter period, the high-rise building is flooded up to the first floor.

In 2026, the invaders began to carefully eliminate the consequences of the war crimes they committed on the territory of Siverskodonetsk. When the Russians realized that the reconstruction of the destroyed apartment buildings would require significant capital investments, they quickly forgot about their promises and began to massively dismantle these buildings, damaged during the storming of the city. Until this year, only a few apartment buildings had been dismantled in Siverskodonetsk. Now, according to the plan, at least 79 are subject to dismantling. Every month, the invaders dismantle one or two apartment buildings.
