Having destroyed dozens of towns and villages in Luhansk region, the invaders do not provide the affected residents with real estate. They are engaged only in the demonstrative restoration of more or less surviving houses and the dismantling of destroyed ones. Only six thousand people were included in the queue for resettlement. Among them are those whose housing became uninhabitable not because of the war, but was destroyed over time. Mostly - in the territories captured in 2014, where for 12 years the housing and communal services sector was present only "on paper."

The situation is no better in many cities occupied in 2022. In particular, in Novodruzhesk and Pryvil, located near Lysychansk.
