"Russian troops carried out 27 attacks on Ukrainian military positions in the Luhansk region. For the main strike, the enemy used unmanned systems: 23 attacks were recorded using drops from UAVs and FPV drones. In addition, the enemy used artillery twice, and also fired from a mortar and automatic grenade launcher. During the day, the enemy tried to break through the Ukrainian defenses in the Lyman direction 12 times," said Oleksiy Kharchenko, head of the Luhansk regional state organization.
Business from Russia continues to expand in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, turning the war into a tool for profit. Enterprises from the Rostov region and the Moscow region have seized the areas of the Luhansk plant "Lugamash" (formerly "Luganskteplovoz"), where the invaders are illegally organizing a so-called industrial park. The occupation administration is actively preparing documents for entering the stolen facility into the all-Russian register. Russia is purposefully appropriating Ukrainian industrial potential, giving the captured capacities to its entrepreneurs. Several Russian companies have already started the production of building materials, metal structures and other products there.
In the occupied Luhansk region, a systemic water supply crisis continues, which once again demonstrates the chronic inability or unwillingness of the occupation authorities to provide for the basic needs of the population. Due to the next power outages of pumping stations, a number of “municipalities” have again been left without water, and it has to be transported dozens of kilometers to some settlements. At the same time, local occupation administrations openly admit their own helplessness and lack of resources to promptly resolve the infrastructure collapse. For example, by postponing critically important steps until at least 2027, in particular the launch of an additional pumping station in the Kremen region. The water problem in the region has become permanent, and the occupation regime has neither the proper potential nor real intentions to stabilize it.
