About the situation in Luhansk region as of the morning of 06/16/2026

The occupiers justify the increase in fuel prices and its shortage by changing logistics, the invaders are alternately shutting off water in cities - now in Siverskodonetsk, the enemy attacked near Novoyehorivka

"Yesterday, Ukrainian defenders repelled 23 Russian assaults on the Lymanskaya sector of the front. The enemy moved forward near nine settlements. In the territory of Luhansk region, they tried to advance near Novoyehorivka. In two cases, they fired from artillery and used automatic grenade launchers four times. They directed six drones towards our Defenders," said the head of Luhansk region, Oleksiy Kharchenko.

The fuel crisis in the so-called "LPR" is intensifying, due to the forced shutdown of a number of oil refineries. However, the Russians are not used to admitting their own inability to control the situation, so they are inventing other reasons for the increase in gasoline prices and its disappearance in many cities. One of them is a change in logistics, due to which fuel is now almost not delivered to the occupied territories.

With the beginning of summer, the Russians began to turn off the centralized water supply in those settlements where it was carried out more or less regularly. However, in the summer the invaders decided to remind the locals that the value of the latter's life is of no importance to the occupiers. Now the turn has come to Siverskodonetsk, where the water was turned off in several blocks in the new districts of the city. During the week of its absence, no one organized the delivery of drinking water.
