"The enemy shelled the territory of Luhansk Region three times yesterday with artillery. In two cases, it used mortars. It also struck with automatic grenade launchers. It directed 10 UAVs towards Ukrainian soldiers," said Oleksiy Kharchenko, head of the regional military administration. "On the Lymanskye Namryamk, the Russians attacked 16 times, trying to advance near five settlements."
The occupiers are failing to prepare for winter - the volume of repairs of heating mains has decreased. According to the latest data, in the so-called "LPR" this year they will try to replace only 30 km of heating mains. Of these, 8 km are in Luhansk. Although a few weeks ago the occupiers announced other - more optimistic - indicators. In Alchevsk alone, they were going to replace 40 km of the heating network. Now - only 30 km throughout the "republic". Not only Alchevsk, where more than 100 km of the heating system is in unsatisfactory condition, remains problematic, but also the cities occupied in 2022 - most of the communications there are completely destroyed.
Since the capture of Lysychansk by the Russians in the summer of 2022, the city has not had a warning system. The equipment was damaged during the storming of the settlement. And since then, the occupiers have had no business with it. In the event of an air raid, the townspeople do not receive any signal. The occupation administration promises to restore the warning system during 2029-2030.
