Head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration Oleksiy Kharchenko visited the location of the 3rd Border Guard Unit named after Hero of Ukraine Colonel Yevheniy Pikus.

"The fighters of the "Pomsta" brigade are today defending Ukraine in the Kharkiv region, daily stopping the enemy's attempts to advance deep into the country. Supporting the Luhansk border detachment remains a priority for us. From their side, it is an urgent request. From our side, it is a quick decision," emphasized Oleksiy Kharchenko, head of the Luhansk region.

Yesterday, he handed over equipment and machinery worth UAH 19.5 million to the border guards. These are generators, electronic warfare equipment, reconnaissance drones, and satellite communication terminals. They were purchased with the funds of the corresponding subvention.

Oleksiy Kharchenko also awarded border guards with the badges of honor of the "Defender of Luhansk Region".
