In Ukraine, activities within the framework of World Cleanup Day 2026 will last from August 20 to September 20, 2026, taking into account the conditions of martial law, security restrictions, and the specifics of each region.
The organizers are the public organization "All-Ukrainian Youth Movement "Let's Do It Ukraine" together with the international movement Let's Do It World with the support of state authorities and local governments, public organizations, businesses, educational institutions, media, international partners and thousands of volunteers.
The goal of World Cleanup Day is to form an ecological culture and responsible waste management, develop a volunteer movement, strengthen civic responsibility, promote the principles of sustainable development and circular economy, and involve citizens in practical actions to restore the environment.
World Cleanup Day is traditionally joined by public organizations, state and local governments, enterprises, business companies, educational institutions, the media, youth, volunteers, public figures, international partners, and all concerned citizens.

Participation formats in 2026
Traditional cleanups are held in safe locations previously agreed upon with local authorities, checked by relevant services, near shelters, and with a limited number of participants.
Digital Cleanup — removing unnecessary files, photos, emails, cleaning mobile devices and cloud storage to reduce the load on data centers, save energy and reduce CO₂ emissions.

Local environmental initiatives — cleaning the territories of enterprises, institutions, educational institutions, and other facilities, subject to prior approval and compliance with safety requirements.

Registration of results
We ask all participants to register the results of their participation by September 25, 2026. It is these data that will be transmitted to the international headquarters of Let's Do It World and taken into account in the world ranking of countries.

Safety rules
Due to the martial law, mass events are not held. Cleaning is allowed only in agreed safe locations. All participants must undergo a safety briefing. In the event of an air raid, it is necessary to immediately go to the nearest shelter.
For security reasons, we ask that you do not publicly publish the exact addresses and times of the clean-up. It is recommended that photos and videos be posted on social media no earlier than two hours after the event ends at a specific location.
NGO "All-Ukrainian Youth Movement "Let's Do It Ukraine"" is not responsible for the life and health of participants. Participation in the events is voluntary, and each participant is independently responsible for compliance with safety requirements in accordance with the conditions of their region.
