A member of the Ukrainian paratriathlon team, a Siverskodonetsk native and veteran of the assault brigade of the National Para Triathlon School "Lyut" Ivan Artyukh, at the end of June participated in the European Para Laser Run, Para Biathlon and Para Triathlon Championships, which took place on the island of Madeira (Portugal).

The result of our compatriot is impressive:

Ivan has three gold medals in all three disciplines: laser-run, parabiathlon and paratriathlon!!!

Ivana Artyukh is originally from Siverskodonetsk. He served in the assault brigade of the National Police "Lyut". Before the full-scale war, Ivan worked as an investigator in the National Police in Siverskodonetsk, and with the beginning of the invasion he joined the combat units. He went through the Luhansk direction, the Kharkiv counteroffensive, battles for Lyman and the Bakhmut district. He was wounded in Chasovye Yar in the spring of 2024. After treatment and recovery in 2025, he completed his service.

Today, Ivan works in the Rubizhna City Military Administration.
