Dear Ukrainians!
Today I signed a decree establishing a new special day – the Day of Unmanned Systems Forces. From now on, it is June 11 every year. A day of our respect and gratitude to the UAS. For the first time in the world, it was in Ukraine that we created such a force, we are developing UAS to the maximum, and it was Ukrainians who proved that thanks to technological advancement, thanks to our creativity and courage, we can change war – we can achieve goals that were previously either completely unattainable for conventional weapons, or extremely difficult to achieve and required a huge expenditure of resources. In just one year after the creation of the UAS group, Russian targets of various levels worth almost $40 billion have already been hit. The most important thing is that these are different types of hits, and each one gives us the opportunity to save lives. The UAS of the Armed Forces is a real example for many other armies, and these months we are especially grateful for the middle strikes – Russian military logistics throughout the entire depth of the temporarily occupied territory is now available to Ukrainian drones. The Russian border region is also under our influence. The enemy feels this, and we will increase it. We will further strengthen the SBS. I thank you, soldiers! And to all units, all components of our Defense and Security Forces of Ukraine, who jointly and coherently inflict exactly the kind of damage that is needed.
There was a report by Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrsky, as well as Chief of the General Staff Andriy Gnatov on the frontline situation and key areas. Of course, we discussed in detail the middle strikes and deep strikes that are currently being implemented. The plan of our Ukrainian long-range sanctions is being implemented absolutely clearly. A military plant in Cheboksary was hit - 900 kilometers from Ukraine, and this was done by Ukrainian Flamingo missiles. There were also hits on Russian oil industry facilities. There are also achievements in the Black Sea region. The Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Security Service of Ukraine, intelligence - thank you to everyone involved!
I want to recognize our soldiers on the front lines today: the positions are strong, and the tasks are being accomplished. Especially the units of the DShV: the 95th, 80th, 79th brigades. Thank you! The 4th, 12th and 14th brigades of the National Guard of Ukraine - thank you! The 155th mechanized, 25th airborne, 425th assault regiment and each of the SBS units - thank you!
We also spoke in detail today with our diplomatic team. First, it is very important to fulfill agreements with partners. We just had a productive summit between NB8 and Ukraine, E3 and Ukraine. Partners are ready to help, and in particular air defense. Air defense, energy, and the activation of diplomacy are three priorities for Ukraine. I expect that everything we agreed on is already being implemented by our respective teams: the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, and the Office of the President. We are also preparing for the extremely important summits of the summer - the EU summit, the G7 summit, and the NATO summit. Each of these platforms should be effective for Ukraine, we are preparing solutions. Thank you to everyone who helps us!
