The SBU exposed 4 more pro-Russian agitators: one of them called for the torture of Ukrainian prisoners, and the other called for the attack on Kyiv with the "Oreshnik"

The security service detained 4 more hostile agitators in different regions of Ukraine. The perpetrators supported the armed aggression of the Russian Federation, called for shelling Ukrainian cities and torturing Ukrainian prisoners of war.

Thus, in the Kyiv region, a senior deacon of the Kyiv Metropolis of the UOC (MP) was exposed for abusing racists in Telegram channel chats to commit violence against captured soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

It is documented how the cleric called on the enemy to imprison our soldiers in Russian prisons, leave them without food and water for long periods of time, and send them "to hard labor."

In the Cherkasy region, suspicion fell on a local unemployed man who praised Putin in various messengers and called on him to hit Kyiv with the "Oreshnik".

In the Dnipropetrovsk region, an archimandrite, former rector of the church of the Siverskodonetsk eparchy of the UOC (MP), was exposed for justifying the crimes of racists and waiting for the complete occupation of Ukraine.

It was established that after the capture of part of the Luhansk region in 2014, the cleric traveled to the Russian Federation to enlist the support of the leaders of the Russian Orthodox Church.

Returning to Ukraine, he conducted liturgies in one of the churches in the Dnipropetrovsk region, where he incited parishioners to support the Kremlin regime.

In addition, the cleric justified Russian shelling of Ukrainian cities in personal correspondence with acquaintances.

In the Carpathian region, SBU officers, together with the National Police, detained a native of the Kosiv district who called on social networks for the revival of the USSR.

According to the case materials, the defendant published Soviet symbols on her Facebook page and agitated Ukrainian citizens to ignore the current legislation of our country.

Based on the collected evidence, investigators of the Security Service informed the defendants of suspicion in accordance with the crimes committed under several articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine:

Part 2 of Article 436-1 (production, distribution of communist, Nazi symbols and propaganda of communist and national socialist (Nazi) totalitarian regimes);

Part 1, 3 of Art. 436-2 (justification, recognition as lawful, denial of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, glorification of its participants).

The perpetrators face up to 10 years in prison with confiscation of property.

The comprehensive measures were carried out under the procedural guidance of the Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office, as well as the Cherkasy, Luhansk, and Ivano-Frankivsk regional prosecutor's offices.
