Today, at home in Ukraine, it was a very useful visit to the Middle East region, to the Gulf region. You can feel how good the attitude towards Ukraine, towards our soldiers, towards our experience is. High respect for Ukraine – I am grateful to the leaders for this, there is a common vision of the countries of the region to work together with our state, with our defense together with our experts. Security and restoration of stability are the first priority for everyone. And each of the peoples deserves to live in peace. There are already agreements now, these are historical agreements: Ukraine and Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar. We are also working with Jordan and Kuwait. Currently in the region – Rustem Umerov, he continues negotiations at the political level, he reported to me today. There are also additional requests from Bahrain and Oman. And for Ukraine, this is not only a matter of prestige and respect for our people. This issue is quite specific and practical – we export our defense system, the skills of our soldiers, the knowledge that our state has. And from these states – from our partners – we expect appropriate security cooperation. We have already agreed on the possibilities of strengthening air defense, on the joint development of defense industries, and also on energy cooperation. And this applies, in particular, to diesel and other things that we need now.

I also held a meeting today – primarily about air defense. We discussed in detail the situation regarding the implementation of contracts and the procurement of everything necessary. This is not only about countering ballistics – it is also about front-line air defense, missiles against drones, and interceptors. Everything will be provided. We are working so that our Ukrainian production can reach a level where we will have the necessary components of the air defense system – all of them, including anti-ballistic ones. We are working on this with several countries – it is too early to disclose the details. But the most important thing is needed – licenses for us, localization for us, results for us, in Ukraine. This is a global goal, we continue to work for this.

And one more thing. There will be a lot of work this week, a lot of international work with our partners. This concerns security guarantees for Ukraine - and work on this with America first of all. And we will also talk with Europe about our Ukrainian potential and agreements in the Middle East and the Gulf, and about our joint European defense and production. There will be good results. I thank everyone who helps us! I thank all our people! It is important to remember that Ukraine has such a defense system not thanks to someone alone. Our strength is not just in interceptors or in some other weapon. Our strength is that Ukrainians defend their country every day, check in practice every day what really works, get results every day for themselves, for their country, and therefore can strengthen others - those who support Ukraine, who help Ukraine.
