The Defense Council of the Luhansk region approved another 70.96 million UAH to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Over 200 million UAH have been allocated since the beginning of the year

The Defense Council of the Luhansk region considered the proposals of the Transparency and Accountability working group on allocating a subvention from the local budget for the purchase of logistical (evacuation) ground robotic complexes, UAVs, vehicles and spare parts for them for the needs of military units.

In total, 13 applications from Defense Forces units were considered for a total amount of UAH 115.0 million. However, nine of them, worth UAH 70.96 million, were approved for funding.

In particular, requests for the purchase of logistics (evacuation) ground robotic complexes "VOLYA-E" and multi-channel fast charging units "Bandera Power 860S" for the 9th Border Guard Regiment named after Sich Riflemen, unmanned ground robotic complexes of the "Targan 200" type and an unmanned aviation complex (Heavy Shot zhvavy) for the 2nd Corps of the National Guard of Ukraine "Charter" have been satisfied.

The 428th Separate Battalion of Unmanned Systems, the 53rd Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Prince Volodymyr Monomakh, and the 60th Separate Mechanized Ingulets Brigade – to provide unmanned aviation systems and unmanned aerial vehicles.

14th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Prince Roman the Great – regarding the acquisition of an additional reservation system.

The 18th Slavic Brigade and the 3rd Border Detachment named after the Hero of Ukraine, Colonel Yevheniy Pikus - on the allocation of a subvention from the regional budget for the purchase of transport and logistical means for the needs of these military units.

"Since the beginning of the year, Luhansk Oblast has allocated more than UAH 200 million for the needs of the Defense Forces," said Oleksiy Kharchenko, head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration.
