According to the SBU, three more traitors who fought against the Defense Forces in Donbas received 15 years in prison

Based on the evidence of military counterintelligence and investigators of the Security Service, three more traitors who fought on the side of the racists received 15 years in prison with confiscation of property.

As the investigation established, the attackers were captured by the Defense Forces during continuous fighting in the Slavyansk direction.

One of the convicts is a resident of the Odessa region, who left for the Russian Federation before the start of the full-scale war, and in February 2024 signed a contract with the Ministry of Defense of the aggressor country.

After a short training course at the training grounds of the Moscow region and the temporarily occupied territory of Luhansk Oblast, the traitor was sent to equip the positions of the Rashists in the Kreminna area.

Later, his unit was transferred to Verkhnyokamyanske to attack Ukrainian troops in the Siversky direction.

Also among the convicted are two residents of the temporarily occupied areas of Luhansk region who joined the 7th separate motorized rifle brigade of the Russian Federation.

As part of the enemy formation, the traitors participated in the capture of Seversko-Donetsk and Rubizhne. They were then sent to the Slavyansk direction, where they were later captured as the only survivors of their unit.

Based on materials from the Security Service, the court found the perpetrators guilty under two articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine:
▪️ Part 1, Part 2 of Art. 111 (high treason);
▪️ Part 7 of Article 111-1 (collaborative activities).

The investigation was conducted by SBU officers in Donetsk, Luhansk, and Dnipropetrovsk regions under the procedural guidance of regional prosecutors' offices.
