Defending Ukraine, our compatriot Viktor Viktorovych Yartsev, born in 1982, died.

Viktor was born in Siverskodonetsk, spent his childhood in Sumy Region, and since 1998 he has lived in Kryvyi Rih in the village of Nedayvoda.

After graduating from school, he became a mining equipment mechanic. He worked in agriculture in our community for many years, and later at one of the city's enterprises. Victor was hardworking, calm, sincere, and reliable, and you could always rely on him.
From the beginning of the full-scale invasion, he served in the army as a rifleman - assistant grenade launcher.

Viktor Viktorovich Yartsev died on January 16, 2025 while performing a combat mission near the settlement of Kruglenkoe, Kursk Region.

We express our sincere condolences to Viktor's children, mother, sister, and all his family and friends.
