The head of the Luhansk region, Oleksiy Kharchenko, took part as a speaker in the discussion panel "Economic Challenges of Wartime" within the framework of the "Made in Odessa" forum.
Taras Vysotsky, Deputy Minister of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine, and Dmytro Kysylevsky, Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Economic Development, Coordinator of the Made in Ukraine policy, joined the discussion of the economic situation in the regions and issues of implementing the state economic policy "Made in Ukraine".
"Over 8,000 businesses have moved from Luhansk Region to other regions, many twice - this is exactly the example of resilience that our President is talking about. We are grateful to the Odessa Region, which has accepted more than 200 of our enterprises," emphasized Oleksiy Kharchenko.
According to him, an important role in supporting entrepreneurship is played by well-established cooperation between business and the authorities. In times of war, this issue becomes even more urgent.
Thus, under state programs, entrepreneurs in the region received: 446 "Affordable Loans 5-7-9%" for a total amount of UAH 1.2 billion, more than 100 microgrants for the creation or development of their own business under the "eWork" program for the amount of UAH 21.1 million.
Participants in hostilities and veterans benefited from international grants worth UAH 5.1 million.
The region's enterprises are included in the "Made in Ukraine" program - Rubizhanskaya Hosiery Manufactory, Kreminna-Prom production company, and Mikrohim NFE.
The products of Aeromech Research and Production Enterprise LLC are included in the list of domestic machinery and equipment for the agro-industrial complex, the cost of which is partially compensated by budget funds.
The head of the Luhansk OVA reported that the military administrations of the settlements of the region have approved 16 programs aimed at creating or developing entrepreneurship, including veteran entrepreneurship. 26.4 million UAH has been allocated in the community budgets for their implementation, of which 18.5 million UAH for 2026.
In the second half of this year, a regional business support program will be launched: business entities will be able to receive UAH 200,000 to compensate for the costs of purchasing fixed assets to increase the volume of goods produced. This year, UAH 3.0 million will be allocated for these purposes.
In addition to discussion panels on the experience of "survival" of regional businesses during the war, the forum included an exhibition of products from over 60 local manufacturers "Made in Odessa".
"This forum is about people who, even in difficult times, create, work, and support the economy and jobs," Oleksiy Kharchenko commented on the event.
