As part of the implementation of the National Strategy for Creating a Barrier-Free Space in Ukraine for the period until 2030, a Barrier-Free Map has been created in Ukraine. Currently, it contains over 70-80 thousand objects and continues to be filled.
The accessibility map was developed by the Ukrainian IT company "LUN Misto" with the support of many partners, including the Ministry of Community and Territorial Development, the Ministry of Culture, Ukrzaliznytsia, and other organizations. This is a joint project implemented as part of the initiative of First Lady Olena Zelenska "Accessibility is when you can."
The map is interactive and shows the level of accessibility of various facilities (educational institutions, medical facilities, parks, bus stops, etc.) using accessibility labels (barrier-free, partially barrier-free, barrier-free). There is also information about available barrier-free elements, which helps people plan their routes without obstacles.
