In St. Sophia Cathedral in Kyiv, the President and First Lady, together with European leaders, prayed for a dignified peace in Ukraine

On the fourth anniversary of the beginning of Russia's full-scale aggression against Ukraine, President Volodymyr Zelensky and First Lady Olena Zelenska, together with European leaders who arrived in Kyiv today, prayed in St. Sophia Cathedral for Ukrainians and a dignified peace in Ukraine.

The following took part in the prayer: President of Finland Alexander Stubb, President of the European Council António Costa, President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen, Prime Minister of Denmark Mette Frederiksen, Prime Minister of Estonia Kristen Michał, Prime Minister of Iceland Kristrun Frostadóttir, Prime Minister of Latvia Evika Silinė, Prime Minister of Norway Jonas Gahr Støre, Prime Minister of Croatia Andrej Plenković, Prime Minister of Sweden Ulf Kristersson and Minister of National Defense of Lithuania Robertas Kaunas.

Representatives of churches and religious organizations – the Orthodox Church of Ukraine, the Reformed Church, the Roman Catholic Church in Ukraine, the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, the All-Ukrainian Union of Evangelical Baptist Churches, the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Ukraine, the Ukrainian Evangelical Church, and the Union of Jewish Religious Organizations of Ukraine – read prayers. They prayed for blessings and assistance to Ukrainian soldiers, a dignified peace, the release of prisoners, for everyone who was forced to leave their homes, for all Ukrainians, and for the unity and stability of the Ukrainian people.
