"Enemy troops carried out 23 shellings of the territory of Luhansk region, mainly using unmanned systems. In particular, 17 ammunition drops from drones, strikes by three FPV drones, two mortar attacks and one use of an automatic easel grenade launcher were recorded. In the Lyman direction, the enemy tried to penetrate our defenses 23 times," Oleksiy Kharchenko, head of the Luhansk Regional State Administration, informed.
The negligence of contractors from Tatarstan, who were tasked with the restoration of Lysychansk, has sparked a wave of indignation among the local population and forced the initiation of a higher-level inspection. In particular, residents of one of the apartment buildings note that the contractors have still not installed some of their doors, and new windows have already cracked in some apartments. The townspeople emphasize the extremely negligent attitude of the builders to the restoration process, but their numerous appeals remain without a proper response: the city's occupation administration actually ignores the problem and advises dissatisfied people to contact the prosecutor's office directly with their complaints. This forced a government official from Tatarstan to personally come to Lysychansk with an inspection. In addition, the communal crisis is unfolding against the backdrop of acute problems with fuel supplies in the region, where diesel and gasoline prices have skyrocketed to critical levels. This causes additional indignation among citizens due to the blatant discrepancy between the real state of affairs and the constant assurances of the Russian authorities about complete control over the situation.
Luhanskvoda is resorting to massive and long-term shutdowns to prepare worn-out water mains for winter. As early as July 14, a significant portion of the population will find themselves in a severe shortage of basic services: Alchevsk will lose 60% of its water supply, and the villages of Lozovske, Karpaty, Seleznivka, Bugaivka, and the Slovyanoserbska station will lose 50%, which will inevitably lead to a complete lack of water in many homes. At the same time, the system will completely stop supplying water to Perevalsk, Artemivsk, Zorynsk, Bryanka, Stakhanov, Almazna, Irmino, and more than 15 other nearby settlements and residential areas. Such a collapse of the network once again demonstrates its extreme vulnerability, because even after the completion of the main stage of work, the promised phased return of water will stretch from at least July 16 to 19.
