Recruitment for the entrepreneurial program for women in the HoReCa sector has started

Glovo, together with the Projector Foundation and the Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine, announce the "Iskra. Ignite Your Own Business" program — free training for women from small towns and villages who want to open their own establishment: a coffee shop, bakery, cafe, or family restaurant.

The program helps to go from an idea to a ready-made business plan: participants will work on the concept of the establishment, menu, finances, location search, operational processes and marketing. Women over 18 years old who have an idea for their own establishment, live and plan to open a business in Ukraine can join the training. Experience in HoReCa or entrepreneurship will be an advantage, but is not mandatory.

The training consists of 10 practical modules, the lecturers of which are Olena Borisova (Gastro Family), Lyolya Landa (Yerusalem Cafe), Nastya Varava (Varfamily), Marina Pavlyuk (Glovo), Leyla Tuvakliyeva (Maria Cafe), Aurora Ogorodnyk and other industry experts who share their own experience in launching and managing establishments. The finalists of the program will go on a Food Tour to Kyiv, present their ideas at Pitch Day and will be able to receive financial support - a grant of €5,000 for business development. You can apply by March 23 at the link: https://iskra.prjctrfoundation.com/.

Previously, the Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine, Glovo Ukraine, and Projector Foundation signed a memorandum of cooperation to expand opportunities for female entrepreneurship and small business development in the regions.

"Supporting women's entrepreneurship in the regions is a direct contribution to employment, small business development, and the economic sustainability of communities. Through training, mentoring, and access to resources, we help women launch or scale their HoReCa businesses, create jobs, and work legally," said Daria Marchak, Deputy Minister of Economy, Environment, and Agriculture of Ukraine.

“The new economy of Ukraine needs more women — in different spheres, at different levels, and with real opportunities for development. That is why our partners and I are launching this project in the HoReCa sector — an industry that we know well and where we can be as useful as possible,” shares Maryna Pavlyuk, CEO of Glovo in Ukraine.

More information about the program and conditions of participation can be found at the link.

The entrepreneurial program "Iskra. Ignite your own business" was initiated and financed by Glovo and is implemented in partnership with the Projector Foundation and the Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine, with the information support of the State Employment Service.
