February 24. The day that changed us forever.
At 4:00 a.m. in 2022, full-scale war entered Ukraine.
Siverskodonetsk was among the first cities she came to — with explosions, anxiety, and a shattered peaceful life.
We remember that morning not by the date, but by the feeling — when the silence ceased to be peaceful.
Today, February 24, on the National Day of Prayer, a memorial event was held at the Siverskodonetsk Humanitarian Hub. Those who know what war is, not from the news, were present: the parents of the fallen Siverskodonetsk residents.
In Ternopil, our citizens also joined the National Day of Prayer.
The moment of silence sounded like the beating of our hearts—shared and painful.
Also in the hub space is an exhibition of the city of Siverskodonetsk - photos of broken houses and destroyed streets, silent witnesses of the war. Nearby - the "Wall of Memory" with photos of fallen military citizens of Siverskodonetsk - a wall of grief, dignity, honor and memory.
Today we unite in prayer — for Ukraine, for our defenders, for all those who have been taken away by this war.
We remember.
Let's pray.
Ukraine stands.
