On May 29, a city online conference was held dedicated to the holiday of the Last Bell for students of grades 9 and 11 of educational institutions in Siverskodonetsk.
The deputy head of the Siverskodonetsk school addressed the graduates, educators and parents with best wishes and touching words. of the city military administration Tatyana Stekhina:
"The leadership of the Siverskodonetsk MBA sincerely congratulates you on the Last Bell Holiday, on the completion of another difficult but important academic year!
Children, we wish you a bright and safe summer, bright impressions, real rest. Graduates, you are beginning a rather new stage of life: responsible, adult, full of opportunities. We wish you confidence in your own abilities, decisions. Great achievements to you.
We are proud that no matter where each of us is, you carry a common identity of community memory and proudly call yourselves Siverskodonetsk residents.
Special thanks to our teachers. Despite all the challenges and forced adaptation to modern realities, you were able to maintain the quality of education at a high level and strengthen the connection with students, master new work formats, and prove that modern education is about professionalism, flexibility, and fortitude.
We are proud!"
The welcoming words were from the Head of the Education Department of the State Educational Service of Ukraine, Larisa Volchenko:
"When we started this year, it was anxious. Distance learning, destinies scattered around the world, challenges that sometimes made us give up. But we did not give up. Our administration, our schools, our teachers held this educational front so high that today I am breathless with pride!
And how resoundingly the intellect of Siverskodonetsk declared itself at olympiads and competitions:
• at the regional level of subject Olympiads, our children won 39 prizes, and the seven strongest became participants and prize-winners of the Ukrainian final.
• Our native language, our word sounded proudly: Petro Jacyk's competition brought 4 victories in the region and a brilliant prize in the national final!
• In the most difficult, fourth stage of the Taras Shevchenko competition, our students won two prizes!
• Our young scientists of the Academy of Sciences and creative talents brought the community another 7 regional victories.
Look at what a powerful, intellectual force we have nurtured together:
• This year, 389 of our students are graduating from the 9th grade! This is a special generation that received its education in extremely difficult conditions. And look at the result: 38 of them are excellent students who will receive certificates with honors!
• 192 eleventh graders are entering adulthood!
And our lyceums graduate them with an incredible rate: 26 of them are excellent students, the gold of our community!
Despite air raids, blackouts, and vast distances, you have proven that there are no obstacles to a true thirst for knowledge.
May this summer bring us the long-awaited peace, safety, and strength. We will definitely return. We will rebuild. We will hug not through screens, but in the courtyards of our native schools.
Happy travels, graduates of 2026!"
Ninth-graders were presented with Certificates of Completion of Basic General Secondary Education. And here too, students face a choice - which lyceum to choose for further education or go to receive vocational education. And this time is also a time of choice. But today they were all, albeit virtually, close to their educational institutions.
The best farewells were given by class teachers, heads of educational institutions, and congratulations were given by preschool and after-school children.
The tender moments of shared commemorative photos, school albums, emotional speeches, and the last bell will be remembered forever.
The most anticipated event was the ceremony of awarding 11th grade students with Certificates of Completion of General Secondary Education with Honors!
The touching words of the graduates to their teachers and parents left no one indifferent. According to good tradition, teachers and parents gave their students farewell and advice before they step into a new period of their adult lives.
The same Last Bell rang out from the lyceum graduates.
