Maksym Grechishkin has worked in the patrol police of his region since 2016. At the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion, he and his colleagues evacuated people and delivered aid to those who did not have time to leave.

After the occupation of his locality, the policeman moved to the Kyiv region, where he settled with his family. The man continued to serve in the patrol police battalion in the village of Chayky.

In 2023, Maksym stood up for the defense of Ukraine. He served as part of the combat brigade of the Patrol Police Department “Khyzhak”.

In February 2024, while performing a combat mission in the Donetsk region, the soldier died.
