Maksym was born in Siverskodonetsk into a family of musicians. From childhood, he was surrounded by art, wrote and played music himself, had a sincere heart and an open character.

Because of the war, Izmail became a temporary refuge for his family. Later, Maxim defended Ukraine from the Russian invasion.

Maksym Gavrylin served as a grenade launcher in the 1st mechanized detachment of the 1st mechanized platoon of the 7th mechanized company of the 3rd mechanized battalion.

On March 13, 2025, while moving between combat positions in the area of ​​the city of Sudzha, Kursk Region, while performing a combat mission to defend Ukraine, Maksym Gavrylin was killed.
