Cyberjura-2026: Siverskodonetsk educators join innovative methods of national resistance

In the conditions of modern war, preparing citizens for national resistance requires not only physical endurance, but also high digital literacy. The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine continues to actively implement interactive methods of military-patriotic education, integrating historical knowledge with the latest technologies.

"World War Zero": History Lessons Through a Cyber Training Ground

On the occasion of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Day, a unique event was held at the DTEU Cyber Range — «CyberJura Wargame Simulation» (CWS) . The format of the event — Hybrid Capture The Flag (Hybrid CTF) , which combines elements of an intellectual quiz and practical tasks in cybersecurity.

The theme of this year's Challenge is "THE CRIMEAN WAR: World War Zero." Participants could explore the "Forgotten War Zero" and learn its (un)learned lessons using modern digital tools.

What is Cyberjura CTF?

This is a proven approach that combines four critical components:

  1. Cybersecurity and cyberdefense are skills for protecting the information space.
  2. Military-patriotic education is a deep understanding of state-building processes.
  3. OSINT (open source intelligence) is the ability to analyze and verify information.
  4. Historical truth is countering hostile narratives through knowledge of real facts.

For the educational community of the Siverskodonetsk community, participation in such projects is a priority. The game and simulation format incorporated in "Cyberjur" allows for effective transmission of defense narratives and involvement of young people in active military-patriotic education.

The event is organized by the Cyberjury Project Office of the International Academy of Geoinformatics NGO together with partners. Building on the experience of previous years, including successful stages of the game in the country's leading military lyceums, this format becomes the basis for training a new generation of defenders.
