In order to inform veterans about state-guaranteed medical services, routes for obtaining medical care, and available support programs, the National Health Service of Ukraine has prepared a "Guide for Veterans: In Simple Words About Medical Guarantees 2026."

The Guide contains explanations regarding:

- primary, outpatient and inpatient medical care;

- treatment of war injuries and their consequences; • rehabilitation, in particular after amputations;

- psychological and psychiatric assistance;

- dental care and dental prosthetics;

- provision of medicines;

- long-term medical care;

- medical care for cardiovascular, oncological and other diseases;

- algorithm of actions in case of violation of patient rights.

The guide will be useful for both veterans and their family members, as well as professionals who work with the veteran community and provide consulting support on obtaining medical services.
