On the eve of Easter, together with the residents of our community shelter in the city of Dnipro, we baked Easter eggs and made Easter eggs.
For many of us, this holiday takes place far from home.
But it is at such moments that one especially feels how important it is to preserve what gives internal support - traditions, the warmth of human connections, and the simple opportunity to be close to each other.
Today, our memories sometimes fit into one suitcase.
But thanks to such meetings, we create new ones - sincere, warm, shared ones. The ones that stay with us forever.
We are united not only by our shared pain.
We are united by a common hope.
And a shared belief in a future where everyone will once again have their own home, security, and life close to their loved ones.
