Thank you to everyone who came to our online meeting for Severskodonetsk Day!
Despite the fact that we were scattered all over the world, it was very cozy, warm, and nostalgic.
The most important thing is that our soldiers from the front line were able to join us and convey greetings to our fellow countrymen. It is thanks to our heroes that we have the opportunity to work and believe in a better future. Hearing your cheerful voices is the best gift!
Also on the occasion of the holiday, we announced the awarding of the title “Honorary Citizen of the Siverskodonetsk Community” to the artist (Boris Romanov) and the journalist, writer, and editor-in-chief of the legendary newspaper “Siverskodonetsk Chemist” (Semen Pertsovsky). Unfortunately, Mr. Romanov received the title posthumously, so his widow spoke on his behalf.
Warm words were spoken by Olha Lishik , Volodymyr Hryshchenko, Svetlana Talan , Marina Bagryntseva , Valentina Savchenko , Olga Kashyrina, Serhiy Pyatnytsia, Petro Chernyshyn and from the head of the Siverskodonetsk city military administration Yevgenia Boyko . And Yuriy Kuzminov even prepared an entire presentation! Special thanks to our constant host Tatyana Lukashova .
As befits such celebrations, songs were sung. We would like to thank the girls from the collectives of the Siverskodonetsk City Palace of Culture and the employees of the Department of Culture, Youth and Sports for the wonderful musical numbers.
Special thanks to the Department of Education of the Siverskodonetsk City Military Administration and to the teachers of educational institutions for an incredibly sensitive creative gift: a video clip with the lights of our city to a mesmerizing waltz performed by the teachers.
It was wow!
Neither the feeble attempts at "hacker attacks" nor the air raids spoiled our meeting - they only reminded us once again who our common enemy really is and why we need to stick together despite all the adversities. Our strength is in unity, dear compatriots! Thank you for everything.
