In early May, representatives of the cultural sphere of the Siverskodonetsk community joined the discussion of strategically important issues at a meeting of the Subcommittee on Information Policy and European Integration of the VRU Committee on Humanitarian and Information Policy.
The event, which took place in a mixed format in Dnipro, was attended by:
Head of the Department of Culture, Youth and Sports Tetyana Grachova;
Directors of municipal cultural institutions of the community, namely:
Cultural Complex "Siverskodonetsk City Palace of Culture" ;
Siverskodonetsk City Public Library ;
Siverskodonetsk Library for Youth .
The key topic of the meeting was the work of museums and cultural institutions in front-line regions, using the example of Dnipropetrovsk, Luhansk, Donetsk, and Zaporizhia regions.
Main points of the discussion:
Preservation of cultural institutions, how to maintain the vital activity of institutions in the face of constant challenges.
Support for creative workers, the fate of specialists from relocated institutions and those who continue to work in frontline cities.
Evacuation and protection, mechanisms for preserving cultural values in areas under threat.
