The Ministry of Culture of Ukraine implements a constant exchange of information between representatives of the authorities and the public, carries out communication and popularization in society of the culture of barrier-free living as a philosophy of dignity and acceptance.

On March 2, 2026, the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine, at the initiative of the Advisor - Commissioner of the President of Ukraine on Barrier-Free Issues, with the assistance of UNESCO and the Center for Social Change and Behavioral Economics, as well as with the support of the partner - OschadBank, plans to hold the event "Language of Dignity: Creating a State Standard of Barrier-Free Language."

The event continues the initiative of the First Lady of Ukraine "Without Barriers" and is dedicated to the introduction of the State Language Standard, which unifies non-discriminatory vocabulary and defines terms that should disappear from official use. The initiative aims to launch a national professional dialogue involving state institutions, local governments, expert circles, civil society institutions, veterans and opinion leaders.
