From August 16 to 23, 19 children from the Siverskodonetsk community vacationed in Lithuania. Once again, this trip was made possible thanks to the cooperation of the Siverskodonetsk city military administration with the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Lithuania in the Luhansk region Robertas Gabulas , the city administration of Vilkaviškis district represented by the Mayor of Vilkaviškis (Siverskodonetsk's sister city) Algirdas Neiberkas in supporting the community residents in their evacuation.

"This trip to Lithuania became for the children a real taste of peaceful life, peace and childish joy in a safe corner of Europe. The program was incredibly rich and vibrant," said Anna Laptyeva, acting director of Siverskodonetsk Gymnasium No. 4 .

In Klaipeda, we had an unforgettable visit to the Sea Museum and a fascinating show at the dolphinarium, which gave the children a lot of positive emotions!

Vilnius offered an immersion in history at the Palace of the Lords (Palace of the Grand Dukes of Lithuania) and fun adventures at the Museum of Illusions.

And the traditional important and warm meeting with the leadership of the city of Vilkaviškis, as well as the children's special concert - a real ambassadorial gesture of gratitude from Ukrainian children. It became extraordinary also because it was hosted by Ukrainians in Lithuania and shared these 2 hours of their free time, giving a feeling of unity and home!

And at the estate (owner Gediminas Babeckas Gedeminas Babeckas ) a lake, a cozy bathhouse, and an open-air vat awaited the children.

This amazing journey was made possible thanks to an incredible team of people with big hearts. The children's camp was organized with the budget of Vilkaviškis Municipality, and the rich program was organized by the Vilkaviškio vaikų ir jaunimo centras (VVJC)
